Now Unveiling Did We Get the Calculations Wrong?, My First "Studio" Album!

It's funny referring to it as a studio album, as it was recorded with a laptop in a guest bedroom, but I've never had a solo song released in any form besides live, so that's what it is! Take a trip over to the music page on this website to give it a listen!

I'm really proud of it as an album, and the fact that none of these songs even existed three weeks ago makes it all the more remarkable for me. I hope you'll all enjoy it, and if there's enough of an upsurge of interest from you all in having it in hardcopy (I've already heard murmurs), I'm open to fine-tuning a few things, getting it mastered and printed.

For now, though, it's time to rest my poor hands from the guitaring and djembe-ing and head back into the classroom!

1 Man, 20 Songs, 10 Days... 3 Shows

Hey everybody! After a long year of teaching that rather deprived me of my voice and my free time, I'm back in the saddle in a big way. For those that haven't heard, I challenged myself to write and record a 10-song album during the 20-day break I have between the end of the Spring semester and the start of Summer Session at City College. If all goes according to plan, I'll have a full album of new material on Sunday, June 12, and it will be available on the Music page of this site!

Along with that bit of fun, I have a few shows lined up for the summer in support of Jacob Wolkenhauer:
1. We'll be reprising "Happiness of Pursuit" in mid-July with Post Ballet at the Herbst Theatre in San Francisco.
2. We'll also be gigging with a good friend in July... more info on that to come!
3. Lastly, at some point in August, Jacob and I will be splitting a bill, during which I will likely debut some of "10-in-20 Project" tunes. Hope to see you on the road!
